Part two through the eyes of our grandchildren

We had to be out of Lunazul cottage by 10. We were moving up to La Mur right above Lunazul. Housekeepingn let us drop suitcases and food for refrigerator. We went over to Mary Creek to read

We were able to check in to LaMur at 3 pm.

Casandra and Steven were coming from Indianapolis to Chicago to St Thomas. When they boarded the plane in Chicago the pilot invited the boys in cockpit,How cool was that

They caught the 5 O'clock Crown Ferry. Nothing like grand child running and throwing their arm around you. Oh what a feeling! Curtsey met them and they got their Ford explore with two car seats. I road with them and stayed in car with the boys why they stopped for groceries

I took them over Bordeaux mountain road. First mistake it was dark and I had trouble finding driveway and missed itFound it on THIRD try. We arrived at Le Mur and it was my night to cook. I made sausage and potatoes on grill.

Keith and Kate missed 7 o’clock ferry by 1minute, Bo worries had a drink and caught 8 o'clock ferry. Jim and Brett picked them up and the got to Villa after 9.

Travel day is long and tiring. We decided to start later.

Sunday

I made bacon and egg Mac muffins We left at 0830 for Little Lameshur and was able to get big tree for shade to the right.

We stopped first to see flamingos before you enter the park.

The boys both took a nap on beach

Keith and Kate did a long snorkel on tektite to great lameshur and around point and a hike to Europa

tonight we got three pizzas from Johnny lime right below us. They were pretty good and perfect ending to first day.

Monday Francis

We arrived at O830 and was able to park down by beach. We set up camp to far right with plenty of shade.

While kids slept Kate,Brett Jim and I went on hike around Francis

Tonight Keith and Kate cooked the best shish kabobs

Shrimp, chicken and steak we each made our own what a fun night.

Tuesday

Keith made us Lime in coconut each night

Tonight we had dinner reservations at Morgan Mango's the boys were so good. Thanks the kids picked up the bill and the key lime pie was a hit!

Wednesday was Hawknest

The waters were the calmest have ever been and the snorkel was so clear. We had a gully washer for about 20 min Huntley slept through it covered up on Steven's lap Casandra and Stoch played in water while it rained

it cleared up and was beautiful in afternoon Keith and Kate saw tons of turtles , stingray and spotted eagle ray over at Oppenheimer beach

Thursday the winds were down so went to Haulover North super clear no current and was able to snorkel furthest ever towards point. YES another octopus came out to play

IN afternoon Keith ,Kate Jim and I went to Denis, Casandra's group went to Maho.

Tonight was date night for kids . We had gourmet dinner Mac and cheese and pig in blankets. Played games and watched Cat in Hat

Sunday we caught the 1100 Crown ferry
When we got to Chicago got picked up by hotel van right away
Jim went to get car and was boxed in by box truck. Took half hour to find owner. Home at 11 pm. Long travel day but so worth it with Memories
